South Milwaukee Lions Club Scholarship

South Milwaukee Lions have awarded scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary education since 1955. The Association of Lions Clubs was established in 1917 in Chicago, Illinois by Melvin Jones, a Chicago business leader. The Association of Lions Clubs had grown,  and now served all over the world. In 1920, The Association of Lions Clubs would become Lions Clubs International. The South Milwaukee Lions Club was granted a charter on October 11, 1937 by Lions Clubs International and has remained an active club since it was chartered.

 

South Milwaukee High School Graduate Application
The South Milwaukee Lions Club will grant up to two one-time $3,000 scholarships to South Milwaukee High School students seeking further education. Eligible applicants must be 2023 / 2024 graduates of South Milwaukee High School. SMHS Students may access application materials at the High School Guidance Office or download from the link below. Applications must be returned to the Guidance Office by April 8, 2024.

Affiliate High School Graduate Application
The South Milwaukee Lions Club will award one-time $3,000 scholarships up to two students who do not attend South Milwaukee High School, but are: a 2023/2024 high school graduate and resident of South Milwaukee and child / grandchild / under legal guardianship of a South Milwaukee Lions Club member and / or a South Milwaukee Leo Club member during 2023 / 2024. Affiliate application materials may be requested by letter mailed to South Milwaukee Lions Club, P.O. Box 103, South Milwaukee, WI 53172, or by downloading the application below. Affiliate scholarship applications must be received via mail by April 1, 2024 to receive consideration.
